It just started for me, because I have decided not to do my last exam. I'm not one to give up easily on exams, but this one, wow, it just totally messed me up. I couldn't concentrate worth anything, and it was just making me feel worse and worse that I wasn't pogressing. It's no big drama though, I already passed everything so far this year, just one little exam isn't gonna ruin my life. I'll just have to retake it in January ^_^

This mean that vacation starts today instead of tomorrow, woohoo!! :D

Next Tuesday classes start again, and that's why I've been scarce at UV lately: I'm trying to get as much pointless fun as possible these last few days, lol ^_^

So I'm having a rather exciting artsy day! After discovering Barbie's cool surprise for me at DA the day only got better when I went to finally buy myself a drawing tablet ^_^ Been meaning to have a real one for a while now. I've been using an old one that doesn't really deserve the name of a drawing tablet really. You couldn't even draw a straight line with it, let alone use pressure sensitivity and that sort of thing. And you had to restart it every 3 to 5 minutes because it froze up. But my new one can everything! It's a lot of fun trying it out so far, find out what all those "tablet people" were talking about, lol. But that's not all! I also got my hands on Photoshop CS3 (with the help of Darthy ^_~) and thought today would be a good time to start using it. And it's cool! So many new functions and stuff...my last version was Photoshop 5...>.> So yeah, I'm freaking out with excitement with these goodies! :D

Yesterday we had a (pointless) opening at my college. It was fun in a tame (and pointless) way, but it was very cool to see some people again ^_^ It's weird, but I'm actually looking forwards to classes again. I wonder if whatever magic I had in my hands last year will help me get through this year's art classes again. It's freaky, me being borderline glad vacation is over and classes starting O.o

I'll be more active at UV when classes start. And I'll be updating the site as well then ^_^

Ok, so the last week or so I've started playing World of Warcraft again...very addictive game >.> I did take out a whole day to sit outside in the sun and draw though :D Unfortunately I was being so nitpicky that in the whole day I only did and finished ONE sketch :( I meant to do like a whole stack, scan them in and start coloring! But no such luck. Ah well, at least Geaven will be getting himself a new pick ^_^

On the bright side, I'm now level 65 in WoW! :D ...Yeah, I know nobody cares about that >.>

My parents asked me what I would like for my birthday, so I told them I'd like a new bed. The frame is still good, but the mattress is old, and the beams supporting it are slowly falling appart. So today we went to buy new stuff :D My new mattrass is twice as high and just lovely :D I'll be sleeping very good tonight ^_~ Though I'm also a bit nostalgic...I've had that old mattrass since I was 3 years old... I'm about to turn 26, you do the math. It's still good too, just...not right for me anymore. Too soft.

Man, am I happy this thing is up and running. Who knew so many little things could go wrong? Actually, I did know that, but one can hope >.> As an extra I was up all night on Friday, because we had a hole in the roof (taken the window out for remodeling and stuff...it wasn't supposed to rain that night >.>) and it started to rain. For some reason I con now no longer explain I decided to fight the rain by myself at 3.15 am, for one and a half hour. I was tired yesterday XD And also yesterday, as the people who were online most likely noticed, the database decided it didn't like the site getting so much attention, and closed off all access to the forum and site...boy did that make me happy! But human prevails over machine! .com was born anyway, woot! :D Darthy was a huge help, also in providing a target for my rants, heh heh.

You know what I like best about the site? The logo ^_^; I've been staring at it for like 10 months now. Supposed to be a yin yang sort of deal, but of the unicorn kind!

Something went right! After all the stuff that went wrong it's good to have something work in one go.
