Mum and Dad have booked our flights for leaving the Netherlands for the last time, and so we now know we will be leaving on the 14th of December! :D Our days here are finally numbered!
Hmm, when we leave, we'll have been living here for exactly eight years and three days...

Also, Mum and Dad are spending a week in Brisbane looking out a house, so Sisterling, Brother, Other Brother and I will be alone in the house. So I may be scarcer than usual until next Wednesday. xD I'm sort of in charge, being the eldest.

So, six pages of Horns and Wings are up now. :) Now I'm forcing myself to not reveal the innermost workings of my stories wherever I can, I'm actually surprising people! :D Never thought I could do that. xD

September has started, and all the British schools are probably starting up in this coming week, including our 'beloved' British School in the Netherlands. The siblings are all making the most of their last Northern Hemisphere 'summer' (You call that coldness summer? What a joke! xD) holiday and are... well... all over the house. And in my room. And on Donnie. xD

Oh, that problem I was having with IE? Apparently all it needed was a restart. xD Thank goodness for Neopets and Shockwave! If it wasn't for them, how long would it have taken me to think of that?
Hmm, I just realized I'm being a bit download-happy at the moment... That could potentially be a bad thing. >>

Kinda surprised to spot two comments on my last blog entry... xD Wasn't expecting it at all!

Anyway, the Horns and Wings comic has five pages up now. I've got nine scanned in, eight of them coloured, and one other page I'm still drawing. I've got the first three panels outlined before going into one of my beloved and probably overused flashbacks. xD I like my stories to be mysterious with all this explaining at the end, although not everything would be explained. Some stuff is hinted at, some is just left for me to feel superior. xD That's not something I feel often over anyone who is not a sibling of mine. *points and laughs at Sisterling, Brother and OtherBrother*
Also, the siblings have two weeks or less until they go back to school. OtherBrother is arriving at the Senior School into Year 7, so he's very nervous about it, despite the rest of us telling him there is nothing to worry about. Brother was teasing me again about them finishing school back in Australia (where school ends at Year 12, not 13), and I was delibratly confusing him by being stupid. :D And Sisterling was complaining that IT lessons are boring and compulsory for them, probably because my year and the year behind us did so badly jumping into A-Levels without the half-GSCEs Sisterling's year were doing. And then because no-one would want to continue after those, they made the whole thing compulsory to up their precious ratings. They like to pretend I don't exist because I got two U A-levels and an AS-Level, which they forced me into after not helping me and using everyone's bad IT marks to lower their chances at success. Oh, and they eliminated mine. I have no idea what I'm going to do when we go back to Australia. >>

Oh, we are going to get a shock when we go back! We'll be leaving a typical Netherlands winter and arriving into a typical Brisbane summer! Brisbane is a lot further north than Sydney and Hazelbrook (where we were living before) so it's hotter on average. And we've spent the last eight years up here in the Netherlands, so it's been forever since we've lived in a place with decent weather. xD

Ergh, what is wrong with Internet Explorer at the moment?! I would have died by now if I didn't have Firefox. XoX I open up IE and it sits there loading until I give it a command and then it freezes. And it has all my new favourites and log-ins and everything! D: My Neopets are gonna DIE!!!

Anyway, just uploaded the first page of my Horns and Wings comic, the prologue. Still haven't worked out this gallery thing, so I'm just linking to DevArt. xD

Summary of HaW:
Velvet, a black-furred unicorn filly, and Pegusa, a white-furred pegasid colt, meet against all the wishes of their respective herds, and their meeting catapults them into an adventure that spans over years, a rollercoaster ride that will bring the seperated herds of Horns and of Wings together into one. Born into their adventure is Pearl, the first unipeg in remembered history, and her daughter, Ruby, who is the last victim of the tale, being forced into an exile just as the situation is about to unexpectedly turn for the better. Of course, Vel and Peg are dead by then, and it is about a year before Ruby returns home to Star Forest... and she hasn't yet. xD

Hmm, when will I get Pearl in there to retrieve Ruby? When I do, I might have her wandering the forest for a few threads searching for her, or I might decide to do it all in one of the Visions forums and never get Pearl's profile up or have her accepted. xD It would save hassle, huh? It wouldn't give those who wanted to say goodbye to Ruby as much warning, but it would be easier on me. xD

Also, my cool new nickname appears to be Foalie. Shorter than UnicornFoal, huh? xD And no one ever called me UF. :D

Hmm, a blog I can actually trust to not die, huh? Maybe it can be put to good use. :3

Once I figure out how to make a gallery, I'll put up my pictures of Ruby, Kibeti, Bryst and Muffin. Also, I'm planning on putting up my Horns and Wings comic. If everything goes to plan, it will actually continue long enough to get to the bit with Ruby. xD Notice I said 'IF'... ^^
