Voice of Deep Forest
~January 3rd 2010~ The violent movements of the earth have not returned since the last event, leaving everybody to pick themselves up, repair any damages made, and wonder what happened...and whether it'll happen again. (This event takes place in all the main RP forums only.)

    As you walk for days through the cold empty open plains filled with nothing but rocks and dead grass, you finally find yourself facing a huge Forest with behemoth trees rising high into the sky, and move to it's edge. There is no water here, but the distant giant green trees show a promise of relief from the cold wastelands.

  • Meadow of Peace
    Somewhere in this Forest there is a large open meadow of grass covered hills. Named so as it was once protected against all evil by the forest guardian, but after his mysterious disappearance two years ago this place no longer enjoys this special protection and is open to everybody.

  • Silvertree Grove
    This place of mystery was born from the ashes of death and grief that formed the Lost Fields before. In size as grand as the Meadow of Peace, this place is the home of giant trees that emit a white glow from luminous veins burried within. Their -and that of the grass- constant glow forms a sanctuary from sadness and shadow, even at night. Streams of light curl from the ground all around, sometimes swaying as if they were alive, harmlessly moving around anything that they touch. While not connected to Deep Forest in spirit, these trees are magical in their own right.

  • The Forest
    A large Forest that stretches from one end of the horizon to the other in length. Huge ancient trees (think 40 stories high) and plants make up this forest, with flowers spread among them all. This place varies from almost open in some clearings at to very dense in other almost impenetrable locations.
    The Mithren wolf pack and the Adele Makani feline pride have made their territories in the east of this forest. If you wish to join them, you can do so in here.

  • Forest Village
    As you walk through the forest you may not notice it right away, but a village founded by the elves Danath and Lenanu has been built among the high treetops. All who require a roof over their heads can seek shelter here, or those in need of wares may browse the shops. To reach the dwellings up high above the forest floor you can either walk up the wide staircases which winds around some of the thick trees, use the magical elevator, or simply fly onto one of the platforms if you have the wings or transportation to do so.

  • The River
    What starts as small trinkles of snow and ice in the mountains ends up as a narrow river running through the forest. All can meet and drink here but it's also a place to beware of others less friendly, yet just as thirsty as yourself. The river does not run through the entire forest but ends in a good sized waterpool named River's Deep, where it continues it's watery journey underground through many caves and tunnels to the many thirsty trees throughout the forest.
    The gryphon Wyng has made it's home along the wilder rapids . If you wish to join them, you can do so in here.

  • The Swamps
    Down south, where The River branches off into many small, yet long streams, the area turns rather abruptly into a dark and murky swamp. The ground is moist and covered with many plants, making it hard to see where the actual water begins and ends. The soft and squishy ground is warm to the touch as many underground geysers warm up the area. Boiling hot water will errupt unexpectantly, and not necessarily twice in the same spot, as the borders between land, water and mud are constantly shifting. The area itself however is not the only danger to be found here, as shadowy creatures lurk here in search for their next prey.

  • Boundary Mountains
    At the opposite side of the Forest where creatures first enter, a large, snow-topped covered mountain range is located. To get to these mountains you must either be able to fly or be persistent enough to travel through the large and dense forest, and brave enough to face the cold and whatever creatures live here. This place naturally draws evil ones.

  • Hidden Visions Reflected
    A place to write fics or RPs about your characters from Unicorns Visions. Here you can give your character adventures that in RP are not possible, give it experiences it needs to grow and learn and advance in life without having to worry about the current timeline or one thread per character limit. These stories will still be a part of the general story continuity of UV.

  • Visions Within Ourselves
    RP and fics in here requires no plot and no logic. Just remember to follow the rules and put a warning label in the topic title when extreme violence or adult themes are used. You don't have to use your UV characters in here if you want to. The stories in here are not a part of the general story told at UV.

    The lives of the creatures who reside here will be written by us in a story form, and together we decide their and the forest's fate in writing. Currently this is only an archive for previous projects until we start up a new adventure.
